The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were proposed by the United Nations in September 2015 and represent the first comprehensive and historic consensus framework, which aims to end the main social, environmental and economic problems of society, focusing on 17 key objectives:
Many companies and institutions identify with the UN initiatives, and although Necomplus has been promoting charitable, environmental and social actions for years, it is now that all these Corporate Social Responsibility activities will be encompassed under one plan.
Necomplus Commitment is the project that aims to contribute to equality among PEOPLE, the protection of the PLANET, ensuring PROSPERITY through the coordination and dissemination of SDG actions. The company’s commitment and responsibility is to achieve a high impact through CSR policies, to also benefit its social environment.
“Companies have the responsibility to promote projects such as Compromiso Necomplus, because getting employees to contribute to the protection of the planet and promoting equality policies from the company are the way for CSR policies to transcend and be effective in society” says Sara López, HR Director.
From now on, all initiatives, such as those organised by the NecomYou Employee Club, will be aligned with the objectives of the Necomplus Commitment project:
SDG 3- Health and well-being
SDG 5- Gender equality
SDG 7- Sustainable and clean energy
SDG 8 – Decent work and economic growth
SDG 10- Reducing inequalities
SDG 11- Sustainable cities and communities
SDG 12- Responsible production and consumption
SDG 15- Life of Terrestrial Ecosystems
